Key points:
- We collect what we need to run the marketplace, pay sellers, prevent fraud and meet the law.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Card details go straight to Stripe. GreenGo never sees or stores full card numbers.
- You can access, correct, download or delete your data from Settings › Privacy or by emailing info@greengopartners.com.
- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
1. Who we are
GreenGo Partners LLC, a New York limited liability company ("GreenGo", "we"), 1515 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224, is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers greengopartners.com and every related site, app, API and MCP endpoint (the "Platform"). Each seller is responsible for the personal information it processes in its own products, under its own privacy policy.

Identity checks for sellers and fixers are run by Stripe and may include a photo of an ID document and a selfie, which Stripe processes under its own privacy policy; GreenGo receives the result, not the images or any biometric data. Otherwise we do not ask for sensitive information such as health, biometric or precise geolocation data. Please do not send it to us.
3. How we use it
- Run the Platform: create accounts, list and deliver products, process payments, issue refunds, provide support.
- Pay sellers and partners: onboarding, payouts, commissions and tax forms such as Form 1099-K.
- Green Light: verify ownership, run the checks a seller authorizes, publish the resulting reports.
- Safety and integrity: prevent fraud, abuse, fake reviews and security incidents; enforce our Terms.
- Legal compliance: sales tax, sanctions screening, record-keeping, responding to lawful requests.
- Communications: receipts, security alerts and policy notices; marketing email only with your consent, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
- Improve the Platform: aggregated analytics and debugging.
We do not use your personal information or User Content to train third-party generative AI models. If we ever want to, we will ask first.
4. Who we share it with
- The other side of a transaction. Sellers receive a buyer's name, email and order details as needed to deliver and support a product. Buyers see a seller's public profile and business name.
- Service providers under contracts that limit their use of the data to serving GreenGo: Stripe (payments, identity verification, tax and payment receipts), Lovable Cloud and Supabase (hosting, database and account emails), Cloudflare (delivery and security), GitHub (temporary runners for Green Light code scans of files sellers upload), Google's OSV.dev (package names and versions only, for vulnerability lookups), the Lovable AI Gateway with OpenAI and Google models (listing moderation, the news brief and Ask GreenGo answers), and analytics and error-monitoring tools.
- Public content. Listings, Green Light reports, reviews and public profiles are visible to everyone.
- Legal reasons. To comply with law, subpoenas or court orders; to protect the rights, property or safety of GreenGo, our users or the public; or to enforce our Terms. Where lawful, we will tell you about a government request for your data.
- Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in U.S. state privacy laws.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for sign-in, security and checkout (including Stripe's fraud-prevention cookies), plus first-party analytics to understand how the Platform is used. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and add the opt-outs the law requires first. Our Platform honors Global Privacy Control as a valid request to opt out of sale or sharing.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | While the account is open, then deleted or de-identified within 30 days of closure, except as listed below |
| Transactions, tax and payout records | 7 years after the transaction (tax and accounting law) |
| Legal acceptance records | For the life of the account plus 7 years |
| Green Light reports | While the listing is live, then archived for 3 years |
| Security and rate-limit logs | Up to 12 months |
| Support tickets and messages | 3 years after the last activity |
| Marketing list | Until you unsubscribe; then a suppression record so we do not email you again |
We may keep data longer when we must hold it for a legal claim, investigation or legal obligation.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, least-privilege access for staff, hashing of rate-limit identifiers and multi-factor authentication for administrative access. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify affected people and regulators as the law requires, including under New York's SHIELD Act. Report vulnerabilities under our Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
8. Your choices and rights
All users can, at any time:
- Access and download your data (Settings › Privacy › Export).
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and data, subject to the retention above.
- Opt out of marketing email and of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, such as the right to know specific pieces of data, to limit the use of sensitive data and to appeal our decision. We give these rights to every user regardless of where they live, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.
How to make a request. Use Settings › Privacy or email info@greengopartners.com. We verify requests by confirming control of your account email. An authorized agent may make a request with your written permission. We respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject. If you are not satisfied with the appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
9. Children
The Platform is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email info@greengopartners.com and we will delete it. Sellers whose products are directed to children are responsible for complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and New York's Child Data Protection Act in their own products.
10. Where data is processed
GreenGo is based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate. If you use the Platform from outside the U.S., your information is transferred to and processed in the U.S. When we expand to regions that require transfer safeguards, such as the EU or the UK, we will put them in place before we market there.
11. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or on the Platform at least 30 days before they apply.
