In short: invite builders and buyers to GreenGo with your personal link. When they succeed, you earn a reward. Both programs are limited and end automatically when their reward limits are reached.
These terms add to the GreenGo Terms of Service. The City Partner and affiliate program has its own Partner Terms and is separate from this program.
1. Who can take part
Anyone with a GreenGo account in good standing who is at least 18. GreenGo employees and their households can't earn rewards. You can't refer yourself, another account you control, or someone who already has a GreenGo account.
2. Bring a builder (sellers)
- Share your link with someone who isn't on GreenGo yet. A person counts as your referral if they sign up within 30 days of opening your link.
- When your referred seller's cleared sales reach $100, you and the seller each receive one free month of GreenGo Pro. A sale is cleared when it has passed its Buyer Protection window with no refund, open claim or chargeback.
- If you already pay for Pro, your next monthly charge is credited. If you don't, you get Pro pricing for 30 days with no subscription and nothing to cancel.
- You can earn up to 12 free months per year. The program ends after 300 rewarded referrals in total, or earlier if we end it under Section 7.
3. Bring a buyer
- When a new buyer you referred makes a purchase, you earn GreenGo Credit equal to 20% of GreenGo's net commission on that purchase, once it clears.
- A new buyer is someone who has never bought on GreenGo before. Each person, email address and payment card counts once.
- Net commission means GreenGo's commission after any partner referral fee and processing costs GreenGo absorbs.
- This applies to that buyer's cleared purchases for 12 months after their first purchase.
- Credit is limited to $200 per referrer per month. The program ends after 1,000 rewarded buyers in total, or earlier under Section 7.
4. GreenGo Credit
- Credit can be used only for GreenGo's own services: Pro, Green Light Monitor, Spotlight and human review. It can't be used for marketplace purchases.
- Credit has no cash value. You can't transfer, sell or exchange it for money.
- Each credit expires 6 months after it is earned. Your balance and expiry dates are shown on your Invite & earn page.
- If a purchase that earned credit is later refunded or charged back, we remove that credit. A negative balance has to be cleared before you can use credit again.
5. Sharing your link honestly
- When you share your link publicly, say that you may earn a reward, for example with "#ad" or "I may earn a reward if you sign up". This is required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement rules.
- Don't make claims about earnings, prices or features that aren't true. Don't present yourself as GreenGo.
- Don't send spam, buy ads on GreenGo's name or trademarks, or use bots, fake accounts or paid traffic schemes.
6. Fraud and abuse
We may withhold or reverse rewards, close referral links or suspend accounts when we reasonably find self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, coordinated purchases, refund abuse or a breach of these terms. We will tell you why, and you can ask us to review the decision by emailing info@greengopartners.com.
7. Changes and ending the program
We may change or end either program at any time by updating these terms with notice on the Invite & earn page. Changes don't apply to rewards you already earned. If we end a program, credit you already earned stays usable until it expires.
8. Taxes
Rewards may be taxable for you. If the law requires it, we may ask for tax information before issuing further rewards.
